Year 7 Digital Agriculture

Copy down what we are learning today.

• See if we can collect some food scraps from the kitchen or canteen.
• Check on the plants, water if needed.
• Fill up the wicking beds.
• Set up the compost bin.
• Take some basil or spring onions to the kitchen.
• Measure water and temperature again.

• What jobs need to be done in the garden?
• Are there jobs that we can’t do well because we’re not there every day?
• What might we want to automate?
• What readings can we get from our sensors? What do they mean?
• What does this system do? Would it be useful? How does it work?
